The Program Objectives and Expected Learning Outcomes

Objectives
1. Graduates are able to apply (i) general knowledge including mathematics, physical and natural sciences, (ii) the fundamental and professional knowledge and (iii) practical working skills for jobs at academic institutions, government agencies and environmental consultancy service companies (General, fundamental and professional knowledge/ Practical working Skills).
2. Graduates are capable of analysis, evaluation and design of municipal/industrial waste treatment plants, environmental pollution controls and environmental management systems. (Analysis/ Assessment/ Technical Design). 
3. Graduates are able to work independently or ready for higher education in the environmental engineering (Self-study/Professional Development).
4. Graduates have a good understanding and appreciation of contemporary issues in political, legal, society and career ethics (Perceptions of Political / Social / Ethical awareness).
5. Graduates are fully equipped with communication skills, teamwork, and group management in order to gain leadership position in professional career (Communication skills/ Leadership).
 
Expected Learning Outcomes

1. An ability to apply general knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering to solve problems in EE field (Understand and Apply).

2. An ability to organize and conduct experiments for waste, water, air pollution treatment systems, to analyze and interpret results (Analyze)

3. An ability to select feasible technology and design a full-scale technical system to meet desired needs include costing, manufacturability, environmental, societal, ethical constraints (Evaluate and Create)

4. An ability to work as a successful team member on multi-tasking and multi-disciplinary issues by leading, scheduling, operating, reporting, discussing, solving interpret (Understand, Apply and Analyze)

5. An ability to recognize, classify, and solve environmental engineering problems (Understand and Apply)

6. An ability to aware profession, career ethics and responsibilities (Understand and Apply)

7. An ability to communicate effectively in terms of describing, interpreting/presenting, reporting and translating. English requirement is minimum TOEIC score of 450 (Understand)

8. An ability to recognize and use knowledge to solve environmental engineering issues in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context (Understand and Apply)

9.  An ability to recognize the needs and motivation to engage in life-long learning (Understand)

10. An ability to use broad knowledge on contemporary issues and update technologies based on knowledge and skills obtained from theoretical and practical courses at the University (Apply)

11. An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools (CAD, laboratory analysis, GIS, Environmental Modeling) necessary for environmental engineering practice (Apply)
