Introduction of Environmental Management Department

Environmental Management is the branch of the science dealing with the interaction and impact of human societies on the environment. This field aims to ensure that ecosystem services are protected and maintained for human community. Another goal is to maintain the integrity of the ecosystem by taking to account of ethical, economic, and ecological variables. Environmental managing also focus on solving conflicts that rise between needs of socio-economic growth and protecting environment and natural.

Environmental management graduates can have limitless career options in the area of environment and natural resource management, including sustainable development, energy management, wild life conservation, and climate change. Because of strong knowledge in management, design, training, technology, conservation, research, consultancy and planning, these graduates are able to work for the government, business, academia, and nonprofit organizations.

The Department of Environmental Management specializes its research and education in:
