HCMUT's student with project "Optimal Logistic System for Organic Recycling"

On September 13, 2022, DAS Fernandes and USG delegation had a visit and exchange about applied projects showcase from students and local young start-ups at Maker Innovation Space (MIS) - Saigon Hi-tech Park.

In the above meeting, the LogiOT team from Bach Khoa Green Innovation Club - BKGI was very honored to welcome and introduce the “Optimal Logistic System for Organic Recycling” project, a eProject - Build-it program sponsored by DOW Vietnam Company and USAID. The LogiOT is a system that manages Logistics activities of collecting and shipping organic waste to optimize the transportation cost. The project is a process of implementation within 6 months of a group of students from many different faculties and disciplines of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, which is mentored by Dr. Vo Thanh Hang (lecturer, Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources) with Mr. Nguyen Toan and Mr. Luu Minh Tri (expert, Down Vietnam). The student team members are below:

The team has received positive feedback and will soon participate in the EPROJECT showcase of USAID BUILD-IT & DOW Vietnam STEM Program at September 27, 2022.
