Tiếp nối thành công của Hội thảo “Ứng dụng GIS toàn quốc” thường niên trong 10 năm qua (2009 – 2019), năm 2020, Trường Đại học Bách Khoa – ĐHQG-HCM đăng cai tổ chức Hội thảo Ứng dụng GIS toàn quốc 2020 dự kiến được tổ chức từ ngày 1/12 đến 5/12/2020 với chủ đề “Ứng dụng GIS cho đô thị thông minh hướng tới phát triển bền vững”.

MỤC TIÊU CỦA HỘI THẢO

Hội thảo là diễn đàn để các nhà khoa học trao đổi và chia sẻ các kết quả nghiên cứu cơ bản và ứng dụng GIS, GNSS, Viễn thám trong lĩnh vực quản lý tài nguyên, môi trường và đô thị nhằm đề xuất các hướng nghiên cứu, hợp tác và phát triển công nghệ GIS, GNSS, Viễn thám trong thời gian tới.

Ngoài ra, mục tiêu của Hội thảo năm nay sẽ tập trung vào việc nâng cao năng lực ứng dụng GIS, GNSS và Viễn thám trong công tác quản lý Nhà nước và quản lý phát triển đô thị, hướng đến mục tiêu xây dựng đô thị thông minh, góp phần phát triển bền vững tại Việt Nam.

INTRODUCTION

The National Conference on Geography Information System 2020 (GIS Conference) is an annual scientific playground to put on-line all groups of geospatial communities in the world for discussing and showcasing the achievements with recent novel research, projects, and technology developments.

The conference is also meant to be an interdisciplinary forum for leading researchers and students in related areas to present the latest developments, works, and applications, to discuss cutting-edge technology, to exchange research ideas, and to promote international collaboration in this field.

Besides the academic, there are also exciting activities in GIS day such as GIS Marathon, Creation Map Competition. It is expected to be hustle and bustle events to increase connectivity among participants. Through the exhibition halls, researchers will approach the latest technology and services by various companies in geospatial technology. Exciting social programs will be organized for participants and it would be a great pleasure to meet all of you in this upcoming conference.
